PIONEER PRESS TREASURE HUNT FOR THE MEDALLION
The eagerly awaited 2014 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt, presented by Fury Jeep, will begin with publication of the first clue in Pioneer Press editions of Sunday, January 19, and on TwinCities.com, the digital home of the hunt.
The hunt, a Saint. Paul tradition since 1952, challenges readers to solve daily clues and be the first to find the medallion hidden on public land in Ramsey County. The successful hunter could win up to $10,000.
A new Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt clue will be published daily through Thursday, Jan. 30, unless the medallion is found before that date.
To qualify for the full $10,000 prize award, the individual who finds the medallion must have a registered 2014 St. Paul Winter Carnival Button (postmarked or registered online by Friday, Jan. 17), and the daily clues clipped or copied from the Pioneer Press or TwinCities.com. (Please Note: Groups or hunting partners may not share a registered button. In addition, the Pioneer Press will recognize one winner with one prize. If the finder chooses to share the prize award, it will be his or her responsibility to do so.)
Buttons may continue to be registered through Feb. 2 to be eligible for other prizes.
